Yum, yum.... my favourite appetizer..... escargots with garlic and butter sauce.
It is also one of the most famous dishes in French cuisine.
The daddy taught the children how to use the tongs to extract the flesh from the shell, along with small two-tined snail forks, and then dip the snail into the garlic and butter sauce provided. It took the children awhile to handle the tongs properly and it seemed like they are operating on something. And I worried the snail will fly off the plate any moment too.
Sean ate the escargots...... and his comment was....... ok ok but not his fav.
